ITS UNITED KINGDOM, the UK association for the promotion of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), is a not-for-profit public/private sector association financed by members’ subscriptions, and provides a forum for all organisations concerned with ITS. We work to bring the benefits that ITS can offer in terms of economic efficiency, transport safety, and environmental benefits to the United Kingdom – and at the same time expand the ITS market.

Smart Mobility Lab

Delegates fortune enough to visit the Smart Mobility Laboratory London (SMLL) in the evening on the first day (4 October 2021) will get the chance to witness the centre in action.

Participants will obtain advanced and accurate data-driven insights from an autonomous vehicle in an urban setting. The live demonstration of the AV will be a static showcase in the workshop that will enable delegates to witness the SMLL control room gather real time analytics.

The SMLL is enabled by a unique and sophisticated set of physical and technology infrastructure. Roadside monitoring equipment, technology connectivity using a range of protocols, an extensive data platform and a complex road environment create a complete and challenging real-world urban testbed. These facilities provide comprehensive and detailed test and trial evaluation and data for all kinds of CAVs, infrastructure, services and components.

Drinks and canapés will be served for all guests.

The coach to the Smart Mobility Laboratory will leave the Symposium venue at 5.15pm on 4 October 2021 and the event will finish at 8pm.
